Humidity has an effect on measuring particulate matter (swelling of particles), thus giving incorrect readings. Our DMS Inlet heater automatically dries the particles before they reach the sensor. Simply enter either remotely , or on site, the required humidity you wish to activate the heater, along with the temperature you wish to maintain. The processor will monitor and control the temperature while the humidity is above the entered value.

Below is a real-time graph from DMS Site Manager displaying the effect of the heater. The heater is remotely switched on at 05.27 (is off prior to this time, and switched off at 05:39. You can see the effect of the drying procedure has on the particles, and how not having the heater would give inaccurate values.
